About Us

Game Oix is an independent website offering free, original brain games that you can play instantly in a web browser — Sudoku, logic puzzles, memory challenges, card games and classic strategy games. There is nothing to download and no account to create.

What we believe

Games should respect your intelligence. We focus on games that reward thinking: puzzles with real solutions, opponents that genuinely play well and difficulty levels that actually mean something.

Games should respect your time. Every game loads quickly, starts immediately and can be paused. Pages are built so the game is the first thing you see, not a wall of adverts or pop-ups.

We are honest about brain training. Puzzles are an enjoyable way to practise focus, logic and planning, and you will get better at the games you play. We do not claim that any game will raise your IQ, prevent illness or transform your life, and our guides try to separate established evidence from general advice.

Our games

Every game on Game Oix is original work, written specifically for this website, with original artwork. Our puzzles are generated by algorithms and checked automatically:

  • every Sudoku and Logic Grid Puzzle has exactly one solution;
  • every sliding puzzle, maze and Lights Out board is guaranteed to be solvable;
  • every chess puzzle is verified by a move-checking engine.

Our card game, Chroma Rush, is our own design inspired by the general mechanics of colour-and-number shedding games; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the owners of any commercial card game.

Our guides

The articles on our blog are written by the Game Oix editorial team — the people who build and test the games. We write practical, step-by-step guides to solving techniques and strategy, and we update them when we improve a game or learn something new.

How the site is funded

Game Oix is free to use. We may show advertising to cover the costs of hosting and development. Adverts are always labelled, kept separate from game controls and, where required, loaded only after you have given consent. See our Advertising Disclosure and Privacy Policy for details.

Your progress and your privacy

Your scores, levels, streaks and achievements are saved in your own browser on your own device. We do not require accounts and do not collect your name or email unless you choose to contact us.
