Maze Challenge

Every maze in Maze Challenge is a perfect maze, generated with a randomised depth-first search: every square is reachable and there is exactly one route between any two points. Guide the cyan dot from the top-left corner to the green exit at the bottom-right.

Your trail is shown as you go, and when you finish the game tells you how your step count compares with the shortest possible route. Each level adds a row and a column.

1. Move with the arrow keys or W, A, S, D.
2. On a touch screen, swipe on the maze or use the on-screen arrows.
3. Reach the green square to finish the level.
4. Complete a level to unlock the next, larger maze.

• Scan before moving. A few seconds of looking saves a lot of backtracking.
• Work backwards from the exit to find the passage your route must use.
• Mentally fill dead ends near a confusing junction.
• If lost, follow one wall — it always works in a perfect maze.
