About Word Search
A relaxing classic: a grid of letters hides a list of themed words — Space, Ocean Life, Weather, Board Games and more. Find them all to finish.
The difficulty decides the grid size and the directions words can run: Easy uses 8×8 grids with words across and down; Medium adds diagonals; Hard adds backwards words; Expert uses 14×14 grids and all eight directions.
How to play
- Find a word from the list in the grid.
- Drag from its first letter to its last letter in a straight line — or tap the first letter, then tap the last.
- Found words are highlighted and crossed off the list.
- Find every word to complete the puzzle. Your progress is saved if you leave part-way.
Strategy and tips
- Hunt the rarest letter in a word (Q, X, Z, J, K, W, V) rather than the first letter.
- Look for double letters and distinctive pairs.
- Find long words first, short ones last.
- Know the allowed directions for your difficulty.
