About Gem Swap

An 8×8 board of coloured gems. Swap two neighbouring gems to make a line of three or more of the same kind; the matched gems disappear, the gems above fall down and new ones drop in. If those make new lines, they clear too — a cascade — and each step of a cascade scores more than the last. Reach the target score within the move limit.

How to play

  1. Tap a gem and then a neighbour to swap them, or swipe (or drag with the mouse) a gem onto its neighbour.
  2. A swap only counts if it makes a line of three or more.
  3. Longer lines and cascades score extra.
  4. Reach the target score before your moves run out. Show a move highlights a possible swap.

Strategy and tips

  • Match near the bottom — more gems fall, so cascades are more likely.
  • Look for lines of four or five; they score far more than three.
  • Don't waste moves on small matches at the top early on.
