About Memory Match

Memory Match is the classic concentration game, redesigned with crisp, original symbols. All the cards start face down. Turn over two at a time; if they match, they stay face up. If not, they flip back — and you have to remember what you saw.

It is a simple game that rewards a surprisingly deep skill: holding the positions of several items in mind while new information keeps arriving.

How to play

  1. Choose a difficulty: Easy (12 cards), Medium (16), Hard (24) or Expert (36).
  2. Click or tap a card to turn it over, then turn over a second card.
  3. If the two cards match, they stay face up. If not, they turn back after a moment.
  4. Find every pair to finish. Your move count and time are recorded, and your best result on each difficulty is saved on this device.

Strategy and tips

  • Reveal systematically. When turning over unknown cards, work through the grid in a fixed order so positions are easier to remember.
  • Name what you see. A quick mental label such as "blue star" uses verbal as well as visual memory.
  • Use your second flip wisely. If your first card is new and you don't know its partner, turn over another unknown card to gain information.
  • Divide the board. On large grids, remember the region first (top-left, bottom-right), then the exact spot.

Are the cards shuffled differently each time?

Yes. Every new game deals a fresh random layout, and the symbols chosen also vary.
