About Mosaic Logic
Mosaic puzzles hide a black-and-white pattern. Each number tells you how many cells are filled in the 3×3 block centred on it — the number's own cell and its up to eight neighbours. Use the numbers to work out exactly which cells are filled. Harder levels show fewer numbers; every puzzle has one solution.
How to play
- Tap a cell to fill it, again to mark it with a cross (empty), again to clear.
- Each number equals the count of filled cells in its 3×3 block, including itself.
- If a number has too many filled cells around it, those cells are outlined in red.
Strategy and tips
- 0 and 9 are instant: a 0 clears its whole block; a 9 fills it.
- Edges and corners have smaller blocks — a 4 in a corner fills all four cells.
- Compare overlapping blocks. Two neighbouring clues share six cells; the difference between them tells you about the other cells.
Questions about Mosaic Logic
Does the number’s own cell count?
Yes. The block is 3×3 including the clue cell itself.
